RHINELANDER - Next week the Stoney Pines Trail in Rhinelander will fill with goblins, witches, superheroes and more for the Not So Scary Halloween Trail.
A local donation will allow those characters to trick or treat at some elaborate lit up stations.
" What better contribution could we possible make then be part of this trail which is part of what Hal Berndt started here for the Rhinelander Kiwanis Club and to continue and make it even better for the Y," said former Kiwanis Club President Dave Havel.
The Kiwanis Club of Rhinelander gave The YMCA of the Northwoods a $3,700 check.
The money will provide underground electricity through the whole trail.
That's something the trail never had before.
"It's another step Kiwanis has, to help contribute to the community and support our mission which is to support the youth in Rhinelander," said Havel.
Families can get a head start on trick-or " treating at the Not so Scary Halloween Trail next Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. behind the YMCA of the Northwoods.
