Our Sisters' House hosts soup competition
TOMAHAWK - This weekend people in Tomahawk could try out several different soups from local restaurants, all in support of a good cause. Our Sisters House held the Super Soup Supper Soup Competition.

Six different restaurants participated in the competition, the winner got a Golden Ladle and bragging rights.

This year was the third year of the competition, but organizers decided to switch it up a bit this year.

"You're kind of skeptical on how good it's going to go when you try a different way of doing things," said Our Sisters' House Director Tina Elvins. "Because before it was free-will donation and now we're doing the $10 for all you can eat. So I'm actually really happy with how it's going, it's doing good."

All proceeds went to Our Sisters' House, which is a temporary homeless shelter in Tomahawk.
