Apartment building damaged by explosion to be torn down.
BEAVER DAM - An apartment building in Beaver Dam will get torn down. It was damaged by a chemical explosion this week.

Police detonated highly-volatile chemicals at the apartment complex after a man died there in a different explosion earlier in the week.

Police say it would have been too dangerous to move bomb making materials found inside an apartment.

People were evacuated Monday when police found the chemicals.

Police said immediate plans will be made to tear down the building
