Minocqua Farmers Market looking for new vendors
MINOCQUA - As winter in the Northwoods winds down, the season for fresh produce starts up. The Minocqua Farmer's Market will begin in May. But first, they need new vendors.

The market is looking for vendors who sell fresh produce, eggs, cheeses, yogurts, plants, jams and much more. But it's also looking for people to do more than just sell their goods.

"We also are looking for non-profit groups once a week. We like to have someone new come in and either teach a class, share some information, educate us about agriculture, teach a craft or skill and we want to move forward with that and have something different every week," said Correspondence secretary Jerry Odehnal.

Odehnal also says the market wants to provide entertainment. Music groups and food trucks are welcome to apply.
"We want to get food vendors so our vendors have something to eat while they're there in the past we had as many as two food trucks in 2015."
