Deer with chronic wasting disease found in Forest County
FOREST COUNTY - Forest County joins the list of places hit by chronic wasting disease in deer.

The Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection announced the positive test Monday.
The six year old buck was found on a 230 acre hunting ranch.

It had been born at a breeding farm in Marinette County and was moved to the hunting ranch in Forest County in 2014.

Both locations had already been quarantined because the breeding farm tested positive for CWD last June.

The hunting ranch and the breeding farm are registered to the same owner.
