Snow piling up along roads and medians
TOMAHAWK - We normally don't see piles of snow this tall on the side of the road. This week in Tomahawk, those piles are everywhere.

Visibility at intersections has become tricky. Public Works Director John Cole says that they're trying their best to get the roads as clear as possible. However, their phone keeps ringing, and people keep complaining.

"People are getting a little bit upset with us, but we really have nowhere to go with the snow than anybody else does," said Cole. "We're doing the best we can and I hope they understand that. Certainly if things calm down and we get some free time here, we can get snow off that snow off the roads."

Cole also said, "We know what we need to do. We just need some time to do it. When you're doing one thing all the time, nothing else is getting done. And right now we're stuck in a snow plow pattern here."

The snow won't be able to be removed until the weather calms down. Until then, the snow banks will make it hard to see. Please be careful when driving through an intersection.
