$50,000 winning Powerball ticket sold in Marathon County
MADISON - Two people in Wisconsin won $50,000 Powerball drawings this week, including one ticket purchased in Marathon County.

According to the Wisconsin Lottery, one of the winning tickets was bought at the Kwik Trip on Rib Mountain Drive in Wausau.  The other winning ticket came from a Mobil store in Richfield.

The winning numbers on Wednesday night were 18-36-45-47-69 and a Powerball of 14.  Winning the $50,000 prize means matching four of the five numbers and the Powerball.

Winners have 180 days from Wednesday's drawing to claim their prize in person at the lottery office in Madison, which would be Sept. 9.

Both winning retailers will get a $1,000 payout.

The Powerball jackpot will be at $495 million when the next numbers are drawn on Saturday night. That is the eighth-highest in history.
