Evers Plans To Veto Abortion Bill
MADISON - Democrats believe an anti-abortion bill causes distractions from certain items in Governor Evers' budget.

That bill would require abortion providers to care for babies who survive abortion attempts or face prison.

The GOP-controlled Assembly planned to pass that bill today.

Some leaders believe state Republicans are falling in line with other states like Alabama and Georgia where restrictive abortion bans have recently passed.
It must pass the Senate before it heads to the governor.

Evers has vowed to veto the "born alive" bill.
