PBS director comes to Minocqua to talk about episode of "Around the Corner with John McGivern"
MINOCQUA - Tuesday people in Minocqua got to see their town in the spotlight at a screening of PBS's Minocqua episode of "Around the Corner with John McGivern".

The show takes a look at Wisconsin's different communities.

Tuesday night the director of the show came to The Waters of Minocqua to talk to people about the show.

The episode originally aired earlier this year and was filmed last summer with the help of the Minocqua Area Chamber of Commerce.

"We have so many people that are huge fans of John McGivern that give us a call and say, 'We got to see you live on air and it was amazing.' So we're just so happy that we had the opportunity to work with them and showcase everything we have here in Minocqua," said Minocqua Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Krystal Westfahl.

The episode features all different aspects of Minocqua, from the businesses, unique places people can visit, and the unique jobs people do. If you missed the screening and still want to watch the episode, it is available on the Milwaukee PBS YouTube Channel
