Customers Choice Landscape closing its garden store
RHINELANDER - You must have noticed a closure announcement from Customers Choice Landscaping and garden center along Highway 47 in Rhinelander this week. It turns out the business is not going to close everything.

The 35-year-old landscaping company has supported the garden center financially for many years. But owner Bert Saal doesn't have enough employees to help run both businesses. Their gift and ice cream shop located just in front of the property went through the same issue. The good news is the landscaping company itself isn't going anywhere.

"The landscape company is going to expand," said Saal. "I am taking my current employees and I'm going to find room in the organization for them."

Despite the employee shortage, Bert has been really happy with the employees he has on staff.

"I would not be where I am at today without my employees," said Saal. "I am very thankful. They are all hard working and dedicated. I do appreciate them a lot."

The last day for the garden center is July 7.

Customers Choice Landscaping wants to stress that they are always hiring.
