School expansion in Lac du Flambeau nears completion
LAC DU FLAMBEAU - Construction on six new classrooms at the Lac du Flambeau School should be done by the end of this month, according to Superintendent Larry Ouimette.

The district spent more than $3 million dollars on the expansion.

Along with the classrooms, the expanded building will include a new fitness center. Work on the fitness center may take longer this fall.

The construction project started in March.
