Wisconsin man dies in New York elevator accident
NEW YORK - A Wisconsin man wanted to fulfill his dreams in New York, but an unfortunate elevator accident took the dream away from him.

Samuel Waisbren tried getting off a crowded elevator in Manhattan Thursday morning, but the elevator dropped unexpectedly. He was stuck between the door and elevator shaft when the elevator crushed him.
The investigation continues to determine what went wrong

"I know there were a lot of problems with the elevators," says Waisbren's father. "I know it`s become a criminal matter. I know there are a lot of issues as far as the safety of that building."

One other person was able to get off that elevator. Five others were trapped inside on the basement level until firefighters rescued them.
