No Northwoods law enforcement agencies have indicated they will enforce mask mandate
NORTHWOODS -
Sheriff's departments from Forest, Florence, Langlade, Marathon, Oneida, Portage, and Taylor counties have all announced they will not be enforcing Governor Evers' statewide mask mandate.

We have not yet heard back from Iron or Price county sheriff's departments.

WJFW has yet to find a nearby sheriff's office or police department that will enforce the mandate.

There should be some more guidance coming soon from Attorney General Josh Kaul on whether the mask mandate even falls under a sheriff's department's domain.

The statewide mask mandate is set to go into effect Saturday, August 1.
